Below are sections of Mackenzy’s passion projects
F.S.L
Fucking Still Lifes (2022), includes a montage of photos that were staged for the camera to represent cliche, stereotypical representations of women on the internet. The subjects in the shot are both the artist and a friend, and the objects used were thrifted, borrowed, stolen, and remade to communicate the type of woman in media.

Since 2015, Mackenzy has experimented and learned how to work in analog photography and its alternative processes. Being Gen Z, mackenzy craves the delayed gratification FILM brings instead of the fast-paced satisfaction that an iPhone does.
Welcome to Kalaupapa
Welcome to Kalaupapa (2025) is a collection of photographs; Mackenzy had the unique opportunity to travel to the island of Moloka’i and document the historically significant peninsula of Kalaupapa. During this visit, she immersed herself in the rich narratives of the first Hawaiian settlement and the poignant history of leprosy patients sent there in the 1930s. As she continues to reflect on her experience, Mackenzy navigates the complex emotions and profound tragedies that affected both the Native Hawaiians and the individuals who lived in Kalaupapa.
